Hand Building
A creative experience for all levels! Explore a variety of hand building techniques and make an array of ceramic forms, both functional and sculptural. Build a strong foundation of traditional forming skills: pinch, coil, slab and extrusion to make vases, teapots, plates, jars and more! Explore slip & texture techniques: trailing, inlay scraffitto, mishima, sprigging, stamping and colored clays! Tuition covers glaze materials and kiln firing; anticipate additional fees for clay and some tools.
